Vision Statement
The vision of the Catholic Foundation of the Diocese of Lubbock arises from and is inspired by the early Christian community:
"The community of believers was one of heart and mind,
and no one claimed that any of his possessions was his own,
but they held everything in common.
With great power the apostles bore witness
to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus,
and great favor was accorded them all. There was no needy person among them,
those who owned property or houses would sell them bring the proceed of that
sale , and put them at the feet of the apostles,
and they were distributed according to need."
Acts 4:32 - 35
Hence, the Catholic Foundation envisions a type of Christian Stewardship where:
"Each should give according to his heart, and so let him give;
not grudgingly or of necessity, for God loves the one who gives gladly."
2 Corinthians 9:7
